One of the original inns along the National Road (present day U.S. Route 40), the Stone House has a 175+ year history of providing rest for the weary traveler. Since 1822, the Stone House has hosted both dignitaries and common folk alike, providing comfort and the finest food to be found in our area of the Laurel Highlands.

Today, the Stone House Victorian Bed and Breakfast Suites provide our guests with comfortable quarters, that are decorated charmingly with period furnishings and linens, but also include modern amenities. The Stone Room is our gathering room. It has a television, telephone, books, games, and puzzles for inn guests to use. The New Zeigler wing features modern rooms that include televisions and private baths. All inn guests receive a continental breakfast of homemade breads and muffins at no extra charge.

Original Guest Rooms

Titlow
Located on the street side of the 2nd Floor with a Private Bath. The room has a beautiful Queen Size High Pencil Post Bed, decorated with ivory floral wallpaper, and an antique sitting chair.

 

Monroe
Located in the rear of the 2nd Floor with a Private Bath. The room has a beautiful Queen Size High Pencil Post Bed, lovely red floral wallpaper, fireplace and a beautiful French armoire.

 

Lincoln
Located in the back corner of the 2nd Floor. It has an antique French Queen Bed, Rocking Chair, and fireplace. This room has it's own bathroom.

 

Braddock
Located on the front corner of the 2nd Floor. This romantic room has a High Queen Pencil Post Bed, fireplace, reading chair by the window and an Antique French Armoire. This room has it's own bathroom.

 

Jackson
Located on the Third Floor. This room has one Queen Sleigh Bed, lovely Youth Bed in a window alcove, and a chaise lounge. This room shares a Bathroom with the Marshall.

 

Marshall
Located on the Third floor. This room has two Queen Sleigh Beds, rocking chair, and a reading chair in the window alcove. This room shares a bathroom with the Jackson.

Located in the new addition to the Stone House. This room has a Queen bed and a television. It also has a private bath and a jacuzzi. Appointed in a Ralph Lauren decor.

 

Sophia Gallatin
Located in the new addition to the Stone House. This room has a Queen bed and a television. It also has a private bath and a jacuzzi. Appointed in a Ralph Lauren decor.

 

Harriet Tubman
Located in the new addition to the Stone House. This room has a Queen bed and a television. It also has a private bath and a jacuzzi. Appointed in a Ralph Lauren decor.

 

William Penn

JV Thompson
Located in the new addition to the Stone House. This room has a Queen bed and a television. It also has a private bath and a jacuzzi. Appointed in a Ralph Lauren decor.

 

Jumonville
Located in the new addition to the Stone House. This room has a Double bed, a private bath, and a TV. This room is handicap accessible.

There is a 72-hour Cancellation Policy. If a guest cancels within 72 hours of check-in they will be charged $45.00. This policy is in effect due to timeliness of re-booking the room.
