Here in the
Laurel Mountains, there are plenty of things to enjoy.
Whether you like sightseeing, boating, fishing, skiing,
swimming, biking, whitewater rafting, or just a walk
in the woods, everyone will enjoy the scenic Laurel
Mountains. History was made in these mountains, with
the opening battle of the French and Indian War taking
place just about 2 miles from our front door and the
first major wagon route to the western pioneer territories
running right past our restaurant. Most of the sights
listed below are less than a 20 minute drive from the
Stone House.
